Harold Lee Shorr, age 64, died on Jan. 30.

Kenneth A. Stein, born June 11, 1952, passed away on Dec. 28 in Evanston, Illinois, after a hard fought battle with leiomyosarcoma.

Alan Dennis Bram, age 79, passed away on Jan. 23, at home after a 13-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Dorothy Levine, 103, died on Jan. 26 at The Atriums in Overland Park, Kansas, where she had lived for 18 years and where she had made too many friends to count.

Dr. Stanley Penner, 91, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Jan. 25 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Harry P. Levitt, 91, passed away on Jan. 11 in Overland Park, Kansas.

Samuel Balot, 93, passed away at Village Shalom on Jan. 2. 

Stuart (Stu) Alan Baum passed away on Jan. 2 at the age of 76 after a valiant three-year struggle with renal cell carcinoma. 

Phillip Goodbinder passed away very peacefully at Menorah Medical Center on Dec. 26 at the age of 86.

Carol Rose Carr Kusnetzky, 90, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away on Dec. 29.
