The Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City is forming Team Kansas City to participate in the 2025 JCC Maccabi Games.

At the end of this month, the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will attend the Israel Becker Basketball Tournament, hosted by The Anne & Max Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto (TanenbaumCHAT) in Toronto, Canada.

Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City (JFS) received a surprise gift of $125,000 as part of the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund’s Food Insecurity Response Initiative.
