Jewish Unforgettable Ladies Interested in Eating Together (JULIETs) will host cardiologist Dr. Rachel Sosland for a conversation on women’s cardiovascular health.

Jewish Family Services (JFS) is beginning its 2024 Hanukkah Project to provide wrapped Hanukkah gifts and gift cards for more than 300 individuals and families (including children and older adults) in the community who are facing challenges.

Nemitoff, a native of Leawood, is the son of Leslie and Rabbi Arthur P. Nemitoff, rabbi emeritus of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah.

KU Chabad has expanded its staff to meet increased demand to support Jewish students this year, bringing on Rabbi Ariel Brudoley as assistant rabbi and engagement intern for the 2024-2025 school year.

The drive begins on Oct. 2 (Erev Rosh Hashanah) and will continue through the conclusion of the holidays on Oct. 25.
