Eva Hartwich and family celebrated her milestone 100th Birthday on April 25th. Eva is a Holocaust survivor born in Hanover, Germany. She and her late husband Werner left Germany with their own families in early 1939. Eva and Werner met and married in Shanghai China before immigrating to the U.S. in 1947. Eva’s family and friends celebrated the occasion with a private gathering where she lives, which included a Zoom meeting attended by a number of family members and friends around the globe. It was a wonderful celebration of her life and we’d like to thank everyone that participated. 

 

Dr. Daniel Brystowski and Molly Frank Brystowski of Detroit announce the birth March 14, 2021, of their son Nathan Peter Brystowski. Nathan has one sibling, Leora Aria Brystowski, 2. Grandparents are Jeannie Frank of Roeland Park and Dr. and Mrs. Henry Brystowski of Detroit.

 

Rabbi Nati and Sarah Stern welcomed Ephraim Simcha into the world at 8:58 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Rabbi Stern, who is the Kansas City director of NCSY and JSU, said he’s “very excited” to have had the first Jewish baby in the greater Kansas City area in 2021.

Scott Soltz and Melanie Mirowitz Soltz of Overland Park announce the birth April 10, 2020, of a son, Asher Liam Soltz. They are also the parents of Ezra Carson Soltz.
