Ellen and Paul Schifman announce the graduation of their son, Eli, from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Barrett, the Honors College.
As the Outstanding Graduating Senior for the W. P. Carey School of Business, Eli gave the graduation speech at the business school’s commencement. Along with graduating summa cum laude and maintaining higher than a 4.0 grade average every semester for four years, Eli was a McCord Scholar, JP Morgan Chase Scholar, Furst Honors Scholar, Moeur Award Recipient, President’s Scholar, CFA Institute Student Scholar and Beta Gamma Sigma member.
Eli will be working as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse in Los Angeles.
He is the grandson of Madeline and Robert Schifman of Overland Park and Rica and the late Harvey Spivack of Tucson, Arizona.
