The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah has announced that it will host a Kansas City mahjong tournament and that a significant portion of the registration fee will be donated to the Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Israel.

The "Mahj for a Cause: Mah Jongg Tournament” will be held at B’nai Jehudah (12320 Nall Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66209) on Thursday, May 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This community-wide tournament aims to bring together mahjong lovers for a day of fun, competition and charity. Those interested must register by April 18 at bnaijehudah.org/events/mahjongg-tournament or by calling (913) 663-4050.

Participants will receive a continental breakfast and play in rotations. The tournament includes three rounds of four games. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Attendees will have the chance to win door prizes and compete for prizes awarded to the top three players.
