In April, the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) of Greater Kansas City will offer two opportunities for community members to support it.

The first fundraiser is Petals for Passover. Local florist Jenifer Hall of Eden Floral and Events (formerly Forget Me Not Flowers) is donating a portion of the sale of each arrangement to NCJW. Flower orders must be received by Monday, April 15.

The flowers can be picked up on Monday, April 22, from The Shirley & Lewis White Theatre entrance at The J (5801 W. 115th St., Overland Park, KS 66211) between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. For those who order the flowers for delivery (local addresses only), they will arrive on April 22 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Orders can be placed at kansascity.section.ncjw.org/events/petals-for-passover.

The second fundraiser is at Hamburger Mary’s (3700 Broadway Blvd. #110, Kansas City, MO 64111), where NCJW will host an event with drinks, food, bingo and a raffle. The event will take place on Thursday, April 18; bingo will be from 7 to 9 p.m., but attendees are encouraged to come earlier to eat.

Members who have joined since October 2023 or new members who join at the event will be honored with five free raffle tickets. Bingo and the raffle are cash-only.

Reservations are encouraged and can be made at facebook.com/ncjwofkc or hamburgermarys.com/kc and clicking on reservations.

Questions can be directed to the NCJW office at  or (913) 648-0747 between Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
