The Jewish Community Foundation is offering scholarships to high school and college students to help with the cost of summer camp and Israel trips. Applications and instructions may be found online at jcfkc.org/scholarships.

All applications are due March 1. Applicants will be asked to provide a letter of reference and prior scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.

Available scholarships include:

The Allen & Janet Agron Camp Ramah Scholarship Endowment Fund will assist two students attending Camp Ramah in Wisconsin’s eight-week session for the first time.

The Karen and Ed Porter Summer Experience Fund encourages high school and college students who are marginally connected to the Jewish community to consider spending the summer immersed in a Jewish environment. The fund makes several merit-based awards to students to participate in Jewish summer travel experiences which encompass leadership development, community development or personal Jewish enrichment.

The E. David Soltz Israel Scholarship Fund provides one needs-based scholarship for a high school or college student seeking to attain a deeper understanding of Judaism and/or Israel, while studying in the land itself.
