The Sarah Peltzman Educational Series, Unit Two, begins Thursday, Jan. 7. Classes will be held 10-11 a.m. via Zoom. The cost is $15 per unit for new students who are not already participating in Peltzman classes.

This series is open to the entire Jewish community of Greater Kansas City.
The instructor for Unit Two is Hazzan Tahl Ben-Yehuda and her topic is “Difficult Texts in the Tanakh; How We Face and Frame the Texts That Make Us Squirm.” Unit Two will be held Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28.
On Feb. 4, guest speaker David Helfand’s topic will be “Amnesia Torah: Forgetting the Torah and Remembering Ourselves.”
