Rebecca Collier

What we eat is so important for our general overall health.

At 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, jump online for the next Learn, Laugh and Love program, “Healthy Eating for Aging Well,” with Rebecca Collier, a registered dietician. This is a virtual program via Zoom due to safety and health restrictions.

This free program is part of the monthly Learn, Laugh and Love series presented by Jewish Family Services and The Heritage Center of the Jewish Community Center (The J).

Collier is Nutrition Services manager for Harvesters — The Community Food Network. For more than a decade, Collier has been educating people at every age and stage of life about healthy food and eating well. For this program, Collier will share tips on eating healthy as we age. Participants will learn about food choices for lowering your risk of chronic disease and boosting your immune system so you can feel good and stay healthy through the aging process.

“Healthy Eating for Aging Well” is a Zoom program, so no reservations are necessary, and all are welcome to attend. The Zoom link for this program is zoom.us/j/91804984538. It will also be posted on the JFS website: jfskc.org.
