Eliane Isabella Aptilon, daughter of Alejandro and Sarah Aptilon, will become a bat mitzvah on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at The Lodge at Ironwoods in Leawood.
Eliane is the granddaughter of Israel Aptilon (of blessed memory), Flora Rovner of Givat Yeshayahu, Israel; Marvin and Debbie Jean Fremerman of Springfield, Missouri; and Susan Hammerton of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Eliane has a 14-year-old brother, Leonardo.
Eliane attends Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy and enjoys ballet, cooking, playing the violin, and hanging out with her friends and her dog, Morgan.
For her bat mitzvah project, she is raising money to create care packages for people without homes.
