The wedding took place on June 7 in Craigville, Cape Cod, Mass. The ceremony, combining traditions from both grooms’ backgrounds, was performed by Andrew’s uncle, retired Major General Phillip Oates.
The grooms’ brothers, Alexander and Jared Cambier and Samuel and Christopher Oates, stood in as best men.
Adam recently graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School where he was an editor for the Harvard Law Review. After taking the bar exam this summer, he will clerk for a federal judge and then join the law firm of Wilmer Hale in Boston.
Andrew earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Brown University. He is a staff software engineer for Google in Cambridge.
Following a honeymoon to New Zealand, the couple will reside in Cambridge, Mass.
