Jacob Elyachar, community member and Overland Park, Kansas, native, is celebrating the 15th anniversary of his brand, “Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar,” which includes a successful podcast of the same name.
Among his guests have been celebrities such as Cyndi Lauper, Dolly Parton and Howie Mandel.
“Since the launch of ‘Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar,’ I have welcomed many guests from the U.S. and from across the world,” said Elyachar, the brand’s chief content producer, writer and host. “Proudly, I have released over 435 regular episodes, 25 exclusive episodes, six anniversary episodes and four Halloween shows.”
In 2025, the podcast welcomed listeners from more than 75 countries.
“Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar” originated as a blog, jakes-take.com, in which he gave his take on comics, film, music and television. In November 2019, Jacob launched his podcast, which allowed him to expand upon his in-depth interviews, allowing the audience to listen in on conversations with guests.
“I have visited the sets of both ‘American Idol’ and ‘American Ninja Warrior’ reality TV shows,” Elyachar said. “I covered several editions of Kansas City Fashion Week and Planet Comicon Kansas City.”
Elyachar has also appeared as a guest on several other podcasts, including “AGT Time Pod,” “Challenge Mania,” “Getting Real with Jon & Beth” and “The Quinn Spinn.” In 2025, the American Business Awards presented him with their national “Silver Award” in the Interview/Talk Show Podcast category.
