Community member Jeff Slutsky has joined Vascular & Interventional Specialists (VIS) as its new chief operating officer, according to founding partner Chad Laurich, M.D.

Slutsky previously served as COO and chief medical officer for Kansas City Foot & Ankle, where he led significant operational and marketing growth.

Slutsky earned his master's degree in integrated marketing communications from the University of Kansas, serves on the Board of the National Speakers Association of Kansas City, and recently graduated from the Leawood Police Department’s Citizen’s Academy. He and his wife, Helene Eichenwald Slutsky, live in the Kansas City area and have six children, including triplets.

VIS provides screening, diagnosis and treatment for a range of vascular and vein conditions, specializing in vascular surgery and interventional radiology. Their team of physicians and healthcare professionals use state-of-the-art technology and minimally invasive techniques to help patients. Each of the 10 VIS clinics across five states features an outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL), offering advanced endovascular treatments in a more convenient setting.
