Blumah Wineberg, a rebbetzin and veteran educator at Chabad of Overland Park and Leawood, is offering Baking with Bubby, a new children’s Jewish baking class.
Baking with Bubby is intended to offer elementary school students an educational Jewish experience in a kosher kitchen while learning age-appropriate Jewish customs. In addition to baking, there will be storytime and prizes for each child.
Wineberg said that this could be a weekly or bimonthly event for children any afternoon after school, and that Baking with Bubby is “a safe space for your child to grow in skills and learn from an experienced Judaic teacher.”
