Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (HBHA) is seeking a Middle and Upper School chemistry teacher for the 2025-26 school year.

This is an opportunity for a science educator to work in “a close-knit, mission-driven school community with support from experienced colleagues and school leadership.” The position offers the chance to engage students in grades 6–12 through hands-on, student-centered chemistry instruction.

The ideal candidate will bring experience teaching science at the middle or high school level, a passion for fostering curiosity and the ability to plan and communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues. An education degree is required; a master’s degree and teaching license are preferred.

HBHA says they offer competitive pay, professional development opportunities and “a supportive work environment where teachers are encouraged to grow in their craft.”
