Jewish baker Michael Crane will host a one-day pop-up bread sale centered around naturally-leavened sourdough bread at Olive Tree in Overland Park, Kansas.

The sale will be held on Saturday, July 12, at Olive Tree (7044 W. 105th St, Overland Park, KS 66212). Sales will start at 10 a.m. and continue until sold out. Quantities will be limited.

Crane will sell sourdough breads — classic, jalapeno cheddar, cranberry walnut and sourdough rye — as well as French baguettes, bialys and New York-style kettle-boiled bagels.

“This is a continuation of my Jewish food journey,” Crane said. “Bagels and bialys connect me to my roots, but sourdough has opened a new creative chapter. I’m excited to share both with the community.”

The event is hosted in partnership with Jewish community member Mindy Riley, owner of Olive Tree, which specializes in olive oils, balsamic vinegars and gourmet gifts.

“I love bringing people together around good food,” Riley said. “Hosting Michael’s pop-up is a perfect example of what Olive Tree is all about — celebrating flavor, tradition and connection.”
