Isaac Paul Udell, son of Jeff and Farrah Udell, will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Isaac is the grandson of Ester and Chuck Udell of Leawood, Kansas; Belinda Green of Chesterfield, Missouri; and Richard and Christine Green of Rotunda West, Florida. He is the great-grandson of Judy Polasky of Hamilton, Ohio, and has one brother, Caleb.
A student at Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (HBHA), Isaac loves to read, play chess and spend time with friends. He is a Star Scout in Troop 61 and plays soccer, basketball and flag football for HBHA. He recently played on the 3x3 U15 boys basketball team for the Kansas City Delegation in the 2026 JCC Maccabi Games.
For his mitzvah project, Isaac has been volunteering at Great Plains SPCA helping pets in honor of his late dog, Sirius.
