Olivia Mae Ross, daughter of Ashley and Nathan Ross, will become a bat mitzvah on Saturday, May 2, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Olivia is the granddaughter of Sally and Miles Ross, Margaret and Chuck Vandenburg of Overland Park, Kansas, and Pam and Tom Mohr of Pleasantville, Iowa. Her younger sisters are Luna and Margot.
A student at Indian Hills Middle School, Olivia enjoys time with family and friends, playing pick-up games of volleyball and basketball, summers at Herzl Camp, sleepovers and being a fun role model to her sisters (and parents). She excels at drawing and interior design.
For her mitzvah project, Olivia will participate in tikkun olam, supporting a local animal rescue program.
Family and friends are invited to worship with the family and to attend the Kiddush luncheon following the service.
