Roberta Ann Fleider, 67, Rogers, Ark., died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at The Bradford House, Bentonville, Ark.
Graveside services and burial were to be held Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the National Kidney Foundation or Congregation Etz Chaim, P.O. Box 477, Bentonville, AR 72712.
Roberta was born in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of William and Yetta (Baum) Levitch and lived most of her life as a Kansas City area resident. She graduated from Southwest High School in 1964 and then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. Post university attendance, she then worked as a paralegal for more than 20 years. She was a lifelong dog, cat and horse owner and supporter of the humane treatment of animals.
She had a lively and vivacious personality and was the life of the party. Roberta was a member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Overland Park and Congregation Etz Chaim in Bentonville.
Roberta is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Max Bachman; grandchildren, Anabel Grace and Mayah Edan; and brother and sister-in-law, Julius and Debbie Levitch and their children. Roberta was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to her beloved family. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
