“All of America’s problems can be summed up to be a conflict with:

The Bible

The Constitution

Ethics”

This was my awakening.

Recent events displayed our historical values with the “soul of America in the Senate.” Sen. Mitt Romney’s elegant discourse in the Senate the last day of President Trump’s impeachment trial and his tearful speech expressed the American conscience.

At the National Prayer Breakfast the following day, in a keynote address before Trump’s speech, Arthur Brooks talked of how we are not putting forth our traditional American standards and impelled people to “love your enemies.” “In contrast, President Trump, bearing the scar of impeachment, followed him — bending low over the lectern, contorting his face and mocking the impeachment process — showing the audience and the TV-watching world he has no concept of the Constitution or Christian values and principles. Donald Trump’s values are in denominations of currencies and real estate.

St. Augustine wrote that man has moved from darkness to light … so we would rise from earth to heavenly things and invisible to visible.

This is what made America great, Mr. President.
