Gerald F. Bayer of Northbrook, Illinois, died suddenly Thursday, March 25, at age 91.

Jerry was born in Chicago on June 12, 1929, the son of Adolph and Eleanor Levy Bayer. His father died when he was very young and he was raised by his mother with the help of his Aunt Mary and Uncle Moe, who Jerry cared for as if they were his parents.

Twyman Pierre Hampshire (Ty), aged 73, passed away March 12, 2021, at University of Kansas Medical Center. “Ty” as he was known, was born Aug. 22, 1947, in Peoria, Illinois. He was predeceased by his father Twyman Joseph Hampshire and his mother Lilian (Rene) Hampshire Ninke.

Louis Bordman passed away peacefully on March 18, 2021.

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where he grew up and spent his life. He was a graduate of Paseo High School and received an undergraduate degree from UMKC. He served his country in the Army and shortly after married the love of his life, Janet. They were married 55 years and had two children, Steve and Wendy.

Susan Marcella Cohen, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, passed away on March 18, 2021, at age 76 at her home on the Plaza.

Susan was born on Sept. 14, 1944, the daughter of Philip and Eunice “Dee Dee” Cohen. She is survived by her brother, Martin Cohen; Rabbi Randy Sheinberg and Paola (Susan’s younger niece) of New York; her niece Ariel Cohen and Louis Orren and Isadora Cohen-Orren of California; and by numerous cousins.
