Carol Marie Cohen, a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, passed away at age 66 at Olathe Medical Center on Jan. 21, 2017, after a long illness. Funeral services were scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow at Sheffield Cemetery. William “Bill” Carl passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017, under hospice care at Village Shalom in Overland Park, Kansas. Mr. Carl was the owner and proprietor of Carl’s Delicatessen for 55 years in St. Louis before retiring, and a lifelong member and past president of the City of Hope. Bill’s kind and gentle demeanor was apparent to all who came in contact with him.
