Erika Mandler, 88, passed away Monday, Dec. 6.

A memorial service was to have been held Thursday, Dec. 9, at her home in Chillicothe, Mo., with burial at Edgewood Cemetery, also in Chillicothe. Memorial contributions in Erika’s name can be made to the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education.

Born in Vienna, Austria, she was a Holocaust survivor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, who perished in the Holocaust; brother, Kurt Raab, a Holocaust survivor; and her husband, Dr. George Mandler, a Holocaust survivor, who died in 1994.

Mrs. Mandler is survived by her daughter, Camilla Kern, and life partner, Alexander Drummond; cousins, Anita Weisbord and Herta Graham; and nieces, Simone and Rita.
