The family wishes to express our deepest thanks to Dr. Jonathan Jacobs for his devoted care and support, Laurie Krenke, his best friend, and her wonderful staff at Sunrise of Leawood who have provided love, hugs, smiles, patience and unstinting assistance for the last three-and-a-half years. We are grateful to Doris Gilgus for her loving assistance. We also wish to thank Dennis Seck of John Knox Village for making Bernie’s end of life care so comfortable for him and his family.
