Alvin H. Levine, 87, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away Sunday, Jan. 2, at the Atriums.

An immigrant from Poland as a child, Alvin was the long-time owner of Midwest Auto Parts in Kansas City, Kan. He and his late wife, June, were former members of Kehilath Israel Synagogue and The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah and lived at the Atriums, where they had many friends.

Alvin was also preceded in death by his son, Lawrence Levine, and parents, Joseph and Viola Levine. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Levine (and spouse Reed Fletcher), Kansas City, Mo., and Douglas and Drew Levine, Mission, Kan.; sister, Martha Kaplan, Overland Park; brother, Howard Levine (and wife Elvia), Henderson, Nev.; stepson, Steven Charno (and wife Melody), Port Angeles, Wash.; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to a charity of your choice.
