Elizabeth “Liz” Bohm, 90, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 15, 2017. Funeral services were held Monday, July 17, at Louis Memorial Chapel; interment followed at Mount Moriah Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers; the family suggests memorial contributions to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, Village Shalom or Congregation Beth Shalom.
Liz was born March 10, 1927, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Sam and Dora Viscofsky. She was a longtime member of Congregation Beth Shalom, past president of its Sisterhood and a life member of the board of directors, past president of Heart of America Chapter of B’nai B’rith Women, the Women’s Council of B’nai B’rith, and the Reserve Officers Association Ladies for the State of Missouri.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack Bohm. Survivors include her children: Bob Bohm and Linda Taconis, Rick and Lori Bohm, and Lorie and Will Klumb; grandchildren: Lisa and Traci Klumb, Allie and Daniel Bohm; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
