Eloyce was born on Sept. 5, 1935, in Houston, Texas, to Eva and Alfred Karchmer. She attended the University of Texas at Austin. Eloyce was the kindest, most generous woman with a heart of gold. She was an example of what it means to heal the world, “tikkun olam.” She always put her family and loved ones before herself.  She was passionate about spending time with her grandchildren and now great-grandchildren. To her, there was nothing more important than family and she passed down that lesson to us all. She was an active and dedicated member of the Hebrew Educational Alliance. She was a loved member of the community and enjoyed playing bridge, mah jongg and attending book club meetings with her many friends.

The service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at Hebrew Educational Alliance Synagogue in Denver, with burial to follow at Rose Hill cemetery in Commerce City, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lynn Rubin Memorial fund at the Hebrew Educational Alliance Synagogue or Community Living Opportunities (early childhood autism program), P.O.
