Lorraine (Zolotor) (Poisner) Chadwick, 79, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 12. Lorraine was a woman who had a zest for life. She enjoyed time with family and friends.

And if this occurred over playing a game of cards, even better. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Louis Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the American Lung Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Lorraine’s career began working at her father’s sign shop, then moved into modeling. Later she owned a decorating shop, was co-owner of a Lucite gift business, transitioned into back office retail, then moved into jewelry sales, and culminated in banking. Along the way she worked in motherhood, too. Her retirement years in Arizona were spent enjoying golf and spending time with friends that became her family. Lorraine moved back to Kansas City several years ago to be closer to her children.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Louis Zolotor, husband Bill Chadwick, and two other beautiful men in her life, John Mulvihill and Norman Zaremba. She is survived by her children: Sandra Pasik (and Ron), Steven Poisner, Charles Poisner, and Andrea Poisner-Corchine (and Robert); her grandchildren: Lissa Leibson, Max Poisner, Sarah Poisner, Lauren Poisner, and Katie Poisner; her stepchildren: Anne Chadwick-Reese (and John) and Mike Chadwick, and step-grandchildren: Joshua Corchine (and Samantha) and Rachael Corchine, Madeline Reese, and Mollie Reese.
