Victor U. Siegel, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Stratford Commons. Funeral services were held Jan. 2, 2017, at The Louis Memorial Chapel; burial followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association, Alzheimer’s Association, or a charity of your choice.

 

Victor was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where he lived the majority of his life. Victor was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in World War II. He was a kind, gentle, considerate man who loved to laugh. He could talk to anyone and never knew a stranger; he was the consummate salesman. In past years, Victor was an avid fisherman, tennis player, KC Chiefs fan and joke teller. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Victor ran his business, Security-4-Chemical Company, for many years and continued to work until he was nearly 90 years old.

Victor is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Shirlee Siegel, brother Stanley Siegel and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Siegel. He is survived by his longtime companion, Becky Coleman, Overland Park, Kansas; sister, Bernice Volk, Sarasota, Florida; daughter, Cyndie (Alan) Jacobs, Leawood Kansas; sons, Jeffrey (Sharon) Siegel, Naperville, Illinois; Peter Siegel, Lodi, California; Steven (Vanessa) Siegel, Reseda California; brother-in-law: Larry Beiser, Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Bradley Jacobs, Abby Jacobs, Andrew Siegel, Samantha Siegel, Skylah Siegel and Riley Siegel.
