Sondra S. Milgram, 72, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, at her home. Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 23, at The Louis Memorial Chapel; burial followed at Sheffield Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. The family suggests contributions to Friends of Sheffield Cemetery or A. Keith Brodkin Contemporary Artist project @ The Museum of Our National Heritage in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was born April 20, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Harry and Betty (Junsberg) Brodkin and was a lifelong area resident.

Susie was a past president of the Woman’s Auxiliary at Menorah Medical Center and was on the Friends of Sheffield committee that helped refurbish the cemetery. She also volunteered her time at many organizations throughout Kansas City.

Susie was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, patience and her beauty. Susie always had an open door policy for family and friends.

She had a magnetic way about her — people were just drawn to her. Susie never met a store she didn’t like.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, A. Keith Brodkin.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Byron Milgram; her daughters and son-in-law: Lisa Milgram and Heidi and Howard Erenberg; grandchildren: Betsy Erenberg and Charlie Erenberg.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care and Thoughtful Care.
