Mrs. Lillian Pollock, nee Swerdloff, died on Oct. 15, 2014, on Simchat Torah, in Israel where she had lived since she made Aliyah in 1993. She was buried the following day, her 98th birthday, on Har HaZeitim-Mt. of Olives in Jerusalem.

She was married to Mr. Sam Pollock who died in 2010.

Lillian Pollock was known for her wisdom and good counsel and even in her later years she was surrounded by many women much younger than her who cherished her care and concern for all. She was a loving mother to son and daughter-in-law Rabbi and Mrs. Chaim (Irwin) Pollock and to her grandchildren Rabbi Avidan and Mrs. Sarri Pollock, Rabbi Shlomo and Mrs. Chana Novack, Rabbi Yisroel and Mrs. Faygie Pollock, Ms. Rivka Pollock and Mr. Moshe Pollock and her 19 great-grandchildren.{/mprestriction}
