Melvin L. Krashin, 86, former synagogue executive director of Congregation Beth Shalom, and more recently the vice president of property and casualty for the Sanford L. Cohen Insurance Company, passed away on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014.
{mprestriction ids="1"}He was a resident of Henderson, Nev., since 1997. He was born on June 13, 1928, in Kansas, Mo., to Sam and Rose Krashin. He is survived by Lois, his beloved wife of 60 years; his daughter Adrienne Krashin of Las Vegas; son Jeffrey (Jayne) Krashin of Las Vegas; and granddaughter Shaina. Funeral services were held Oct. 2 at King David Memorial Chapel in Las Vegas; burial in the King David Memorial Cemetery.
