Ida DiCapo, 88, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

{mprestriction ids="1"}Visitation was to be held Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service in Mount Moriah Cemetery. A reception was to follow the graveside service.

Ida, a former member of Congregation Ohev Sholom, was preceded in death by her husband Vincent DiCapo; parents, Annie and Sam Weintraub; brother, Max Weintraub; and sisters, Jennie Dinovitz, Sylvia Weintraub and Alice Weintraub-Ornstein Witt.

Survivors include her son, Joel (Marialeana) DiCapo; daughter, Renee Gagliano; and grandchildren, Erika DiCapo, Vince Gagliano and Kaitlyn Gagliano.

Ida brought much joy to those who knew her; her memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
