Nancy and Philip Reicher

Nancy and Philip Reicher will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 8 with an open house for family and friends at their home and with a family dinner that evening.

The couple were married on July 5, 1957, in the home of Nancy’s parents in Flushing, New York, by Rabbi Max Meyer of Flushing Free Synagogue. Nancy’s parents were married in the same home by Rabbi Meyer in 1934. Rabbi Meyer was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. His father was an Orthodox rabbi in Kansas City. His brother, Rabbi Myron M. Meyer, was rabbi at Temple Adath Joseph in St Joseph, Missouri, for many years. Nancy’s great-grandparents and Phil’s great-grandparents were among the earliest Jewish residents of Kansas City, Missouri.

They are the parents of Deborah (Keith) Nochlin, Centennial, Colorado, and James (Elizabeth) Reicher, Raymore, Missouri. They have four grandchildren: Jason (Stephanie) of Somerville, Massachusetts; Michelle Nochlin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and William and Samuel Reicher of Raymore, Missouri.
