Mindy and David Parmet announce the Bat Mitzvah of their daughter, Maya Parmet, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Congregation Beth Shalom.
Maya is the granddaughter of Anne and Mike Jacobs of Overland Park, and Idie and Herb Parmet of Leawood. She is the great-granddaughter of Phyllis Hurst of Overland Park, and Sylvia and Robert Jacobs of Denver, Colorado.
Relatives and friends are invited to worship with the family and attend the Kiddush following the service.
