Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
Dylan Kort joined millions of other men and boys by attaining the rank of Eagle Scout on May 9 at his Eagle Board of Review. His family (pictured here) consists of three generations of Eagle Scouts. Both his grandparents, Arnold Kort and Al Beitchman, as well as his dad and uncle grew up in Troop 61, where they all earned their Eagles. Dylan, who lives in Dallas, Texas, and his cousin dual registered with Troop 61 as well as their home troops in order to go to camp with 61 and continue the family legacy. A proud family of Eagle Scouts gathered on July 2 to celebrate Dylan at his Eagle Court of Honor. Shown are Al Beitchman (from left), Kevin Beitchman, Joshua Beitchman, Dylan Kort and Jeff Kort.
