Steven Rubin and Nicole Gibrick were married Sept. 6 in Chicago, Ill., at the City Winery.
The bride is the daughter of Ilene and Dennis Gibrick of Chicago. She works as an educational publisher at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
The groom is the son of Paula and Stephen Becker of Overland Park, and Sandy and Gary Rubin of Buffalo Grove, Ill. He works as a senior key capacity manager at C.H. Robinson.
The groom’s sisters, Stephanie Rubin and Sarah Rubin, were bridesmaids in the ceremony. Nathan Ross and Danny Ross of Kansas City, and Jonathan Stone, formerly of Kansas City, also participated in the wedding.
The couple spent a week at Lake Geneva relaxing after the wedding, and are planning a trip to Italy to celebrate in the future.
They reside in Chicago.
