Sally Tauber Burstein, born on May 26, 1922, passed away on November 5, 2017. Born Sally Kleinberg in Ottynia, Poland, Sally lived in the New York area for most of her life, with her husband, David Tauber until his passing in 1969. Sally enjoyed 23 years of marriage to Reuben Burstein, until his passing in 1997. Sally’s focus and love in life was always her family. Sally spent her final years later living independently in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Sally is survived by her daughter Clara (Larry) Kahn and grandchildren Debbie (Matt) McLaughlin, David (Amy) Kahn, Melissa (Ross) Friedberg, and son Joseph (Judi) Tauber, Leawood, Kansas, and grandchildren Allyson, Jessica and David and step-daughter Renee (Neil) Funk, Chicago, and grandson William (Sarah) Funk. Sally was blessed with thirteen great grandchildren.
Sally will be forever in our thoughts. Memorial contributions may be sent to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Marian Lewin Beren, 92, longtime resident of Boca Raton, Florida, died on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, after a brief illness. Marian was born on May 25, 1925, in Wichita, Kansas.

Irwin Joseph Blitt, 89, of Leawood, Kansas, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017. He is survived by his wife Rita Blitt; daughter Chela (Connie) Blitt and granddaughter Dorianna Blitt, Berkeley, California; sister and brother-in-law Joan Mae and Jerry Bayer, Northbrook, Illinois; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Paul and Bunni Copaken, Mission Hills, Kansas.
