SevenDays is seeking nominations from the public to receive its annual Ripple of Kindness Award.
The honoree must be someone whose impact on the Kansas City community is apparent but with no expectation of reward or return. The deadline for nominations is midnight on Dec. 24. The nomination form is available at https://bit.ly/40XsBKm.
SevenDays is a Kansas-City based nonprofit organization that promotes kindness and understanding through education and dialogue. SevenDays is marking its 10th anniversary in 2024.
Past recipients of SevenDays Ripple of Kindness Award include former Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Trent Green, former Kansas City Royals President of Baseball Operations Dayton Moore and last year’s winner, CommunityAmerica CEO Lisa Ginter.
The 2024 SevenDays Ripple of Kindness Award winner will be recognized at the Kindness Breakfast on April 10, 2024. They will receive free tickets to the Kindness Breakfast, a commemorative plaque and public relations related to their award.
SevenDays was born out of hate when a white supremacist murdered Reat Underwood, his grandfather Dr. William Corporon and Terri LaManno on April 13, 2014, outside of Jewish facilities. In the aftermath, two families and the Kansas City community joined to shine a light on the darkness of hate.
