The annual pre-Passover community-wide Service of Spiritual Renewal will take place in person at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, at Village Shalom, 5500 W. 123rd Street in Overland Park.

The Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program, under the auspices of Jewish Family Services, hosts the Service of Spiritual Renewal.

Collaborating on the service are Rabbi Jonathan Rudnick, Jewish community chaplain; Rabbi Aaron Philmus, Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's school rabbi; and Lezlie Zucker, music coordinator for Congregation Beth Torah. 

This service includes contemplative readings, prayers, and music focusing on reflection and renewal as we prepare for the upcoming holiday.

The Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program at JFS connects spiritually with Kansas City’s diverse Jewish community providing support during difficult times. Spiritual services include direct pastoral care, education and training of spiritual care volunteers as well as community collaboration in the realm of spiritual care.
