Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy’s upcoming Civic Service Award Celebration brunch will be held at The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22. The deadline to register for the brunch is today, Jan. 12.
The brunch, a change from HBHA’s usual dinner celebration, will honor Alan Edelman and feature a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar.
Representatives from HBHA recently visited The Westin Kansas City hotel for a tasting before finalizing the brunch menu. Staff at the hotel are working to create a kosher, Vaad HaKashruth-supervised brunch.
